Some of you may have come across this, possibly last year when we first started trying to get somehing off the ground, and had a little success in the UK.
We're now going global - http://www.worldgothday.com
For those of you going to WGT there's no need to ask what you've got planned, but if you're not, then check out the site and forum and make something of the weekend anyway!

That is interesting but I cannot help but think it would have been far more effective if they had chosen a day like the third Saturday of May. Sort of like religious holiday (irony?).
Since the 22nd is always moving it is going to make it very hard to keep it going.

True, but last year we coped OK with it being a Friday. It's no so important that things happen on the actual day so much as they happen near it, or that people just do something that month to help the scene. If you look at the 'history' of the event on the forum it'll make more sense.

my sister make a mothers day card and we are trying to... that stand for each letter in the world Mother does anyone have any ideas...keep in mind our mother is a rockin, goth wearin, black eyeliner, dragon loven chick.... People.
